The new Physical Inventory Count app from Autologica is now available, designed to streamline the counting of parts and accessories in each dealership warehouse.
This app simplifies the parts counting process, eliminating the need for paper, and allows you to update the data in the DMS in just a few steps — saving hours of work in the inventory process.
How does it work? Once downloaded onto a mobile device or tablet, parts staff can use the camera as a barcode or QR code scanner to:
- Record the quantity of parts in stock
- Correct bin locations
- Add comments when damaged or missing parts are found
The app supports cycle counting by allowing you to assign a set number of parts to each employee every day, enabling continuous inventory control.
This ongoing process eliminates the need to shut down the dealership. The Physical Inventory Count app features an intuitive interface and uses advanced filters to assign tasks by user, based on location, brand, category, and other criteria.
