Why is service history important?

The service history of a vehicle shows all the services a vehicle has received over time, helping to ensure periodic maintenance recommended by the manufacturer, and identifying past repairs that were suggested but declined by the customer.

By having the service history and comments from the previous repair order, the Service Advisor can again propose that previous repair to the customer, especially if it has now become critical.
