We spoke with Facundo Hidalgo, Senior Accounting Analyst at Mercantil , who shared his experience using Autologica BI.
When I joined the company a few months ago, my first assignment as an Accounting Analyst was to submit one of the monthly reports sent to John Deere. These reports are made up of financial indicators focused on Income, Costs, Variable Expenses, and Fixed Expenses. In addition to that, I had to present a report to dealership management consolidating the information of each branch.
The first time I did this, I had to work with Excel files; it took me a long time to assemble and organize the information to present it to management, plus possible adjustments that could arise. I decided to inquire if Autologica BI could help simplify these tasks and the answer was a resounding yes. From that moment on, we started working with Autologica BI.
At our next Administration & Finance meeting, instead of showing Excel files I presented the information directly from Autologica BI. What had previously taken me around five days became a task that takes just a few moments. Personally, it helped me a great deal because I can now make better use of the time previously spent preparing reports.

- Analysis by line or business unit
- Results of the current fiscal year
- Year-over-year budget comparison
- Detect which key indicators increase or decrease in each period
